Ingredients
Pie or sugar pumpkin
Fresh sage leaves
Black pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400F.
Cut the pumpkin in half and scrape out the seeds.
Place cut side down on a baking sheet.
Roast until tender but not completely soft, about 30 minutes, and remove from oven. Turn oven to broil.
Cut pumpkin into 2-inch wedges and poke the sage leaves into the fles. Season with salt (optional) and pepper, if desired.
Broil until wedges are sizzling and sage is crisped, about 6 minutes.
