1/4 cup steel-cut oats
3/4 cup water
1 fruit or 1 cup frozen berries (optional)
Cinnamon or cardamom (optional)
Combine the oats and the water in a pan. Boil until thick, about 20 minutes. Add the fruit of your choice toward the end, along with any spices you are using.
Serve with a cup of unsweetened soy or almond milk.
