10-12 tomatillos, husked and halved 8 large cloves garlic 6 large cherry tomatoes, halved 1 red onion, chopped 2 large or 3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped into 1" cubes (I recommend using Japanese sweet potatoes, which are sweeter than regular ones, if you can find them) 4 C vegetable broth 1-2 C water (depending on how thick you want soup) salt & pepper (to taste) 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
