This is the 'secret' Greek dressing recipe from the pizzeria that I work at. The recipe makes almost a gallon but can be scaled down easily. It can be used for picnics and travels very well, since it doesn't need to be refrigerated. This is the best dressing I have ever tasted, people offer to buy it constantly, but if we sold it we wouldn't be able to make enough to use in the restaurant!
Loaded with shrimp, ham, chicken, and veggies, just like in your favorite Chinese restaurant. This fried rice is delicious and an excellent use of leftovers!
Eggs, brown sugar, butter, flour, semi-sweet chocolate and walnuts are stirred together, poured into a pastry shell and baked. This pie 's terrific with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Get your glass of ice cold milk ready! Each cookie, loaded with chocolate chips and nuts, is a treat worthy of dunking. Try them as pan cookies, cut into brownie-like squares.
For those that haven't heard, Archway Cookies( Mother's, Salerno) have closed there doors and gone out of business. No more Oatmeal Iced Cookies, Those wonderful Pink and White Animal Circus Cookies with sprinkles (been known to find sprinkles on the kitchen floor the next morning..heheh) and The Holiday Nougat cookies-no more..I will miss them.
