Oh, yumm... These sourdough tortillas were awesome! Chewy, soft, and pliable! The second day, I heated them up in a warm skillet, one by one, where they retained all their first day softness.
Our assistant, Andrea, wrote this recipe in order to recreate her favorite gingerbread energy bar- we think these are better! ;) Chef's Note: Use ground cloves, depending on your taste buds use 1/4 a teaspoon to 1/2 a teaspoon.
I made this recipe for the first time yesterday. Considering that there are only a few pancakes left and I doubled the recipe intending to freeze most of them, I'd say these were a hit!
If you've not noticed, I sort of have a thing for chocolate chips. Throwing in whole wheat flower makes me feel a little less guilty for consuming them at the rate I like to. So, I knew I wanted to try Amy's Lighter Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Pancakes as soon as I saw them.
Even though these cookies are made with 100% whole wheat flour and oats, that's not why I make them. I make them because they may quite possibly be some of the most delicious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies ever. Buttery, chewy, full of sturdy oats and texture, these cookies are absolutely dreamy.
This is a recipe my older sister created many years ago and it's been a family staple ever since. It's not a low-fat recipe (I think I gained a pound just making these yesterday!), but it's delicious.
