This is a yummy and easy soup to throw together. Cheese compliments broccoli and potatoes so well. Ultimate comfort food when the weather starts to get colder. I love to serve it with homemade rolls or bread and a salad. I make it with skim milk to cut back on calories but feel free to substitute whole milk or half-and-half for a creamier soup. If I'm really short on time, I just throw in a can of diced, already cooked potatoes towards the end of the cooking time until they are heated through. If you want a thicker soup, just add desired amount of flour mixed until smooth with an equal amount of water. Mmmmmm....
This Hot Bacon Cheese Spread recipe contains italian bread, kraft shredded colby & monterey jack cheeses, kraft grated parmesan cheese, onion, clove garlic and more.
A family favorite, especially on New Year's Eve, this pumpernickel party appetizer with bacon and cheese topping is perfect for holiday parties, ball games or a quick snack.
Bake the potatoes and shred the cheese the day before making the soup. If the soup needs to simmer awhile on the stove, you may need to add more chicken broth.
This Bacon, Cheese & Fruit Bites recipe contains pineapple chunks, green apple, oscar mayer fully cooked bacon, seedless grapes, wooden toothpicks and more.
This is a favorite combination at The Cheese Truck in New Haven, where it’s actually made with six different cheeses (Comté, Gruyère, and raclette as well as the ones listed below). This streamlined version calls for Cheddar for sharpness, gouda for nutty sweetness and color, and provolone for stretch. Pulling apart the cooked sandwich to add the add-ins keeps the bacon crisp and the guacamole cool.
