Instead of layering the honey and nut mixture between buttery layers of phyllo dough as you would do when making traditional baklava, here you spoon the mixture into mini phyllo tart shells. This is a great recipe for entertaining because your guests can pick these up with their fingers and not worry about making a mess.
White cranberry juice is made with young cranberries before they develop their tart flavor and red color—it's milder and sweeter than regular cranberry juice. Garnish with mint sprigs and whole fresh cranberries, if you like. Prepare the rosemary-infused juice mixture up to one day ahead, and chill.
Apple pie and Cheddar, the beloved mashup of sweet and savory, is yours to be had before dinner with this app. Fruit and walnuts top creamy cheese in each delish bite.
Thanks to the addition of cream cheese, this classic comes out even more moist than you're expecting. It won't be easy, but wait until it cools completely before slicing.
Nothing says holidays like snowflakes. This elegant cake is simpler than it looks and even more delicious than you imagine it will be, thanks to a surprise cream filling.
Everything a refreshing summer salad should be, only juicier. It has just the right amount of hearty, with nuts and cheese on top. Make this when peaches are at their ripest.
I received this an email from ATK. I substituted dried cranraisins for the dried cherries, semi-sweet chocolate chips for bittersweet chocolate and used my hand mixer. Dried cranberries may also be used instead of the cherries. Quick oats may be used instead but will yield a cookie with slightly less chewiness. These cookies will keep for 4 to 5 days stored in airtight container or zipper-lock bag, but they will lose their crisp exterior and become uniformly chewy after a day or so. I only baked one cookie tray at a time. These were very good. I froze them in individual bags for a sweet treat.
