This is my take on Bonefish Grill's popular appetizer, Bang Bang Shrimp! Crispy shrimp get tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce. The result is utterly delicious, and addicting!
Who needs morning drive-thru fare when you've got a 5-minute hearty toasted sandwich? Apple adds an unexpected crunch while maple syrup for dipping sweetens the deal.
DeLallo's weeknight pasta recipes: A light roasted garlic and olive oil sauce with fresh spinach and spicy pepper flakes over organic "angel hair," or capellini pasta. A simple recipe for a savory side or hearty meal.
Minestrone soup is a very popular vegetable soup that is quite healthy and low in fat. This vegetarian crock pot minestrone soup recipe has no oil, so it is virtually fat free. You can also add whatever vegetables your like. Try adding a bit of sweet corn (one of my favorites!), green peas or even some pre-soaked or canned beans.
If your family likes spicy chicken wings, they'll love this pizza made with bottled buffalo wing sauce and refrigerated pizza dough. Serve the blue cheese salad dressing on the side so you can drizzle it over each slice. —Shari DiGirolamo, Newton, Pennsylvania
Queso Fundido is a ubiquitous Tex-Mex staple that combines spicy meat with creamy cheese dip and chiles. Chorizo is typically the meat of choice, but I’ve gone with beef short ribs here, which are more meaty than spicy and lend a decidedly barbecue tone to the proceedings. And since they cook very nicely in a slow cooker anyway, this dip’s a natural. *No aspect of this dish can be considered heart-healthy. It may even be illegal in the state of California.
