If you think chunky, satisfying, veggie-full beef stew can't be low-cal, think again. The best part? You prep it then forget it while it fills the house with amazing smells.
Add chicken to cheesy mac, then give it a shake of hot sauce, and a favorite side becomes the main attraction at the family table. All in just 25 minutes.
This recipe is as fun to eat as monkey bread (little balls of yeast dough that are baked in a pan together, then pulled apart at the table) but a lot less time-consuming to make. Adapted from Martin Yan's Chinese Cooking for Dummies. This is my favorite stir-fry sauce. It makes enough for two meals. Having extra on hand makes for a quick meal. My son will actually eat vegetables he can dip in the sauce! WARNING about the amount of soy sauce. When I used Kikkoman soy sauce, I found this sauce far too salty. I now use Angostura, which is much lower in salt. When adding soy sauce, start with less than half the amount and slowly add more to taste. Using vegetable broth makes this vegetarian. Yield: 1 3/4 cups (couldn't get that amount entered)
This Baked Mashed Potatoes, with Pancetta, Parmesan Cheese, and Breadcrumbs recipe contains russet potatoes, pancetta, butter, freshly grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella and more.
The classic to-go order makes an appearance in your kitchen with this bean-and-cheese burrito with fresh tomatoes and lettuce. Thumbs-up from the fam on this one.

This is a chowder that uses ingredients that I almost always have on hand, so it is quick and easy to throw together before work, and come home to on a nice fall evening. Relatively easy to double as well for extra large families or get togethers.
In this case, "jerk" means spicy and succulent chicken infused with cinnamon, cloves and a little cayenne. One bite and you'll swear you feel a slight warm island breeze.
