The tangy, slightly sweet sauce makes this distinctively Memphis-style. The fact that it's done in 30 minutes makes it a dish to keep in your repertoire.
This is the best baked ziti I have ever tried...and I have tried a lot. This is from the March 2009 issue of Cook's Illustrated and has been thoroughly tested by them.
The smartest thing you can do with this low-cal, low-fat meal is eat it with the people you love. This better-for-you ziti is still filled with cheesy goodness.
This Spaghetti and Meatballs recipe contains ground sirloin, extra-virgin olive oil, italian bread crumbs, can crushed tomatoes, grated parmesan and more.
This is my homemade try at the quot;Penne Rosaquot; they serve at Noodles and Co. Its not exactly the same, but it IS almost as yummy! If you do not like spicy pastas, leave out the red pepper flakes or add more if you like a little kick!
I saw Paula Deen make this recipe on her Food Network program. I was looking for a really creamy macaroni and cheese recipe, and this is it! I changed it a bit by omitting the eggs (the original recipe calls for three) and boiling the macaroni for six minutes instead of seven, so it doesn't get mushy while cooking in the Crockpot. I also shortened the cooking time from three to two and a half hours. Perfection!
