I love this soup. I like to have the vegetables cut medium it makes is hardier. But if you prefer smooth you can always chop smaller or puree. I also omit the bay leaf because I don't like bay leaf. I also use a ham hock from left over Easter or Christmas dinner.
I love this Crock-Pot chicken recipe for two reasons: one, my family loves it and two, it is so easy to make! I got this recipe from my sister. She has two children of her own, and they love it too! It's also the best leftovers in the world - if there are any!
Crisp, cheesy skillet sandwiches ready in 20 minutes! Wrap the bread with ham or turkey, apple, arugula layered with cheese slices. Perfect if you love Italian cuisine.
Just one look at this hot and creamy classic Southern casserole and you know you want it on your table. Start cooking: It'll be ready for spooning up in less than an hour.
A little heat, a little cool and a lot of Southwest flavor wrapped up and ready for a fork. If variety is your thing, try it one week with beef, the next with pork.
As some of you know I have been attempting to record my mother's recipes for all eternity. This has been one of my all time comfort meals all my life. Some of the ingredients would change depending on how much $$ we had at the time. Feel free to add any seasoning you might like.
