I have to admit I've never understood the popularity of the "Sunday brunch" at otherwise decent restaurants—the lines are ridiculous, the food often subpar, and you know as well as me the waitstaff have plenty of better things to do (like nurse their own hangover). My indifference to this cultural phenomenon doesn't mean I don't love a pile of pancakes and a fried egg or two; it's just that I prefer them from the comfort of my own home.
Pigs in blankets are many people’s idea of a perfect Christmas. What if I told you that you can make them even more perfect? How about adding fresh rosemary right into the blankets and dipping them into a beautifully rich & creamy honey mustard cheese dipping sauce… now we’re talkin’!
A real kid pleaser. Best made with fresh potatoes, as opposed to instant, with a stiff potato consistency. I just boil a few potatoes and smash them with a fork.
