This bisquick coffee cake recipe is one of my favorites. It used to be on the back of the Bisquick box, but they replaced it a few years ago. I'm posting it here not only to share it, but as a backup in case I lose my recipe card :)
A classic Salisbury steak in beef and mushroom gravy. This simple, hearty dish will remind you of Sunday dinners at grandma's house. This is my husband's all-time favorite meal. The recipe makes plenty of gravy, so serve with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles.
A Parmesan cheese and bread crumb topping coats this baked fish main dish that's ready to serve in less than 30 minutes. Add carrots and greens to round out the meal.
This was one of my favorite dishes growing up and now it is my children's. Ground beef, cheese and tomato sauce are baked into a simply delicious casserole.
Sweet, sauteed apples are great for breakfast, but you can serve them at any meal. The syrup from the apples is delicious on homemade pancakes or waffles.
Pork chops are browned, then combined in the slow cooker with brown and white rice, onions, mushrooms, peas, and water chestnuts, in a flavorful sauce of beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and onion soup mix.
I created this casserole one day while trying to find a good recipe for leftover ham. Instead of resorting to scalloped potatoes and ham, or ham and noodles. I tried asparagus. Everyone liked it so well, I've made it ever since.--Helen Ostronic, Omaha, Nebraska
'My family loves Mexican food, so I came up with this simple satisfying casserole that gets its spark from salsa,' comments Kim Osburn of Ligonier, Indiana. 'We like it so much that there are rarely leftovers.'
THIS lovely chicken is as good cold as it is right out of the oven. It's moist, tender and lemony with a nice crunch. It's a delicious picnic entree as well as a wonderful meal with scalloped or baked potatoes and a fresh green salad on the side. -Marion Lowery, Medford, Oregon
