Penne pasta tossed in a creamy sauce spiked with Parmesan cheese and pancetta, the Italian version of bacon, makes a marvelously satisfying dish for weeknight suppers.
This is a fantastic recipe even for non-lentil eaters. The honey gives it a sweet taste and it is perfect served with rice. It's great as a main dish but could be a side as well.
'My daughter created this soup when she needed to use up some leftover pork,' explains Eleanor Niska from Twin Falls, Idaho. 'More water can be used for a thinner soup or less water for a noodle dish. It's good with mushroom flavored ramen noodles, too.'
Delicious meat and veggie dumplings combine beef, cabbage, carrot, and onions. Just boil them in water, and serve hot with soy sauce, or add them to a soup.
