When I was in college, I worked at Pappasito's as a waitress. I LOVED their brochette shrimp and I asked the cook for the recipe. He didn't give me the exact measurements, but he did give me the list of ingredients. I went home and played around with the quantities of the ingredeints and came up with what I think is very close to the real thing!
This is one of the best pasta/seafood dishes I have ever tasted! I know the recipe came from a cookbook, but a friend gave it to me several years ago (xeroxed the page) and the title of the book doesn't appear. Sorry I can
You might want to hire a waiter to serve this one. With fresh tomatoes and chopped basil along with savory shrimp and pasta, it's that close to a seriously high-end entree.
The smell of bacon is wafting through the neighborhood, the shrimp are getting plump, the veggies smoky and tender. And the family? Just trying to be patient.
Shrimp, tomatoes and fresh zucchini get a taste of the Mediterranean with a zingy dressing and savory crumbled feta. Suddenly, an ordinary Tuesday night becomes memorable.
If I want to REALLY impress, this is a party appetizer that always works! Need romance? Serve a couple with Filet Mignon for Surf-n-Turf - it doesn't get much better than this!
